Softbank Launches Vision Fund 2.0, Devoting $108 Billion To Artificial Intelligence

Notable investors are Apple, Microsoft, iPhone, Foxconn, Standard Chartered Bank, Mizuho Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and MUFG Bank, and National Investment Corporation of National Bank of Kazakhstan. Apparently Vision Fund 1 has been incredibly successful so far, realizing 45% in returns.

We will need to check if that is on an adjusted basis though. “Wework”, one of their notable investments, a business that specializes in the field of co-working that offers free beer and all you can drink coffee, uses a completely made up financial metric that they call “Community Adjusted EBITDA”.
